Three days ago my class did a digital dig, how to bookmark a webpage was apart of my digital dig. Hopefully my steps teach you how to bookmark a webpage.

Today me and my class have  been working on  what makes a blog comment positive.

Blog commenting

I have been working on how to write a proper comment. So I commented on phoenix's blog and I think I have improved a lot on how to write a proper comment.

Activating nouns

These are my activating nouns. I chose a picture of a cow on a farm. I then wrote down the names of the things that I saw on the picture and made it into a poem. If you think I made a mistake pleas comment.

Free writing.

My brother Macima is six he likes playing games and  eating candy. But there’s one thing he really likes to do. He likes to play rugby. He plays for Mt Albert Lions.  They train every Wednesday's and have a game on every Saturday. He scores a few tries on some of the games. After every game they play the coach announces the player of the day they get a trophy, lollies and a toy car. Last Saturday my brother got the player of the day for hard working and great team support. I was so proud of him he got to keep the lollies and the toy car but the trophy had to be returned back when they come to the next training. So far my  brother has scored 5 tries all up. He says he will score more and tackle lots of people on his next upcoming game.

                                 Week six writing.

                                         Lost pet.

The sun gazed through my window as I  hopped out of bed to get ready. As I was getting dressed I realised someone really important to me was outside waiting for me to come out.  So I stumbled down the stairs so excited making my way to the back door. I open the door with my eyes clothes then took a little peek hoping my pet would be there but she wasn’t there. As I stood  there so confused thinking how could she just disappear into thin air. I decide to look for her. A  few minutes later  of searching all around the neighbourhood. I come back home with a broken heart and tearful eyes. I just couldn’t imagine life without my pet she meant the world to me she was my best friend. I run upstairs to my room and lock the doors and bursted into more and  more tears nonstop. But right then a thought came to my mind. Since I don’t know where my pet is maybe others will know where my pet is. So I sat on my desk drawing lots and lots of posters that said lost pet at the bottom of my writing I drawed a picture of my pet giraffe. I sellotaped the posters to every tree and every pole I even knocked on people’s doors but there was no sign of my pet. Just the thought of never seeing my pet again was devastating. I felt upset and worried what if someone stole her  what if someone called the zoo keepers to come and take my special pet giraffe. This  was not the kind of  day I  enjoy all I needed now  was some peace and quiet  so I walked over to the park remembering the times when we use to play hide and seek. I climbed on top of the  park and scanned through the area but my giraffe was no where to be seen. As I  stared at the ground I felt someone so tall chewing on there food behind my back. I turned around and saw my pet giraffe standing right there I was so happy there was no words to describe the way I felt.

 Yesterday my class watched a video about a girl who lost her pet giraffe. We talked about how she felt and the way she looked my class room came up with great ideas and great describing words.We then wrote our own story about how we lost our pet giraffe then found it.

The digestive system

2 weeks ago for writing my class watched a video about how the digestive system works. After that we wrote about what we learnt about the digestive system. It was pretty hard but I still tried my best. Hopefully you learn something from my piece of work.

Communication poster.

This is a photo I took of my communication poster now I see what it looks like if I take a photo. Next time I make a poster I have to use a darker pen and make the words bigger so people can see from far away.

Diffrent sport balls.

Today I created a cloud bubble on Tagul because we were learning about rugby balls that were made in the olden days so we used tagul and made a bubble about Diffrent sport balls.

Sandcastle

WALT write descriptively about building castles in the sand.

it could be at the beach, in a sandpit, maybe a memory from when you were in Rimu Team or simply just a made up story.

Remember to: Hook the reader in at the beginning.

Finally we made it to the beach. I ran down and found the best spot that  had lots of   sticks and shells lying all over the sand . So I decided to make a big sand castle .

The sand felt so smooth and the shells looked so shiny . I got  started by building  four castle’s which made one on each corner. Then I built a gate out of sticks but it just kept on falling so I used it for making flags.  I then decorated the four castles with the seashells they looked so beautiful.

I decided that I wanted to make  a river in front of the castle so I filled the bucket with  water and poured it on the sand I was disappointed cause the sand kept sinking so I had to get lots and lots of water  finally I was finish building my sand castle but there was a yucky smell coming from the castle, I realised it was the wet sand. so I left it there and played with my brothers.
